Journal 9

What have you learned about your own style this semester? Do you agree with Vonnegut’s rules for style? What might you add, change, or remove?

Due: Thursday, April 14

  1. This semester I have learned that when it comes to my writing I tend to write to "you". I write as if I am talking to someone face to face or giving someone else advice or instruction. I agree with most of the reading that you shouldn't ramble, and you should write about what interests you and the part that I agreed with most was that you should write in the same way as where you are from. You shouldn't try to sound like Shakespear or someone you are not.
