Journal Four

I think I have learned and grown as a writer a lot so far this semester. I have learned that paying close attention to little details in the text is really important. Not only does it give a better understanding of the text it also helps my draw my own conclusions about the writing as well. I think I have also done a good job of analyzing the gender roles in text. I feel that I look deeper into the meaning of actions and words now than I did at the beginning of the semester. In addition, I think I have done a good job in the revising of my papers. I have really been trying to cut back on the wordiness and use examples to support my main points within my writing.
